About the Nails
How long do Velvette Nails last?
With proper prep and application using the included nail glue, Velvette nails can wear for up to 14 days. For shorter wear, use the included adhesive tabs.
Can I reuse my Velvette Nails?
Yes. Velvette nails are designed to be reused when they are removed carefully and any remaining adhesive is gently cleaned from the back of the nail.
Are press-on nails safe for my natural nails?
Velvette is designed as a damage-conscious alternative to salon acrylics and gels. Proper prep and gentle removal matter: never pull or force the nails off.
Can I shower, swim, or work out with them on?
Yes. Once the adhesive has had time to set, Velvette nails are designed for normal daily activities. For longer wear, avoid prolonged water exposure immediately after application.
Sizing & Application
How do I find my correct size?
Every set includes 30 nails across 15 sizes, giving you more options to find a natural-looking fit for each finger. Test sizes before applying adhesive; the best fit should cover the nail from sidewall to sidewall without pressing onto skin or cuticle.
How long does application take?
Most applications can be completed in under 10 minutes once you've selected your sizes.
Glue or adhesive tabs?
Use nail glue when you want longer wear. Use adhesive tabs for a shorter commitment or an easier change between sets.
How do I remove them?
Never pull or force the nails off. Soak in warm, soapy water with cuticle oil, allow the adhesive to loosen, then gently work around the edges until the nail releases.
