Every Velvette set includes 30 multi-sized nails — more than enough to find a perfect fit for every finger. Here's how to find your sizes.
How to Find Your Size
The best way to find your size is to test each nail against your natural nail before applying any adhesive. The correct size should:
- Cover your nail completely from sidewall to sidewall
- Not overlap onto your skin or cuticle
- Sit flush against the nail surface without gaps at the sides
Between sizes? Always go smaller. A slightly smaller nail looks more natural and is less likely to catch on things.
Size Reference Chart
Velvette nails are sized 0 through 9, with 0 being the largest (typically the thumb) and 9 being the smallest (typically the pinky). Most customers use sizes 0–4 for their dominant hand and 1–5 for the other.

Tips for a Perfect Fit
- Nail widths can vary between your dominant and non-dominant hand — size each hand separately.
- If your nail bed is very wide or very narrow, you may find that non-adjacent sizes work better for different fingers.
- Once you know your sizes, write them down so your next application is even faster.
